Four Seasons now offers a replacement for the discontinued General Motors Accumulator used on 2000-01 Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon models with rear air built prior to October 10th, 2000.
Why is this product addition important?
The repair price has escalated due to the customer having to purchase three new component parts to complete the repair of their vehicle when the redesigned accumulator was involved.
The General Motors repair procedure includes two hoses, one extending from the rear of the vehicle, and a suction line from the accumulator to the compressor. These items are needed in addition to the newly designed accumulator. These parts and the subsequent labor to install them increased the price of the repair substantially. Four Seasons is offering the accumulator that is a drop in replacement for the original equipment one. This problem solving part replaces the need for the newly styled accumulator and additional hoses. We feel that this alternative will be welcomed by the customer saving time and money.
