The use of a heavy duty tension spring is used to facilitate a quiet, smooth, long lived, operation that provides consistent dampening of the vibration of the arm. The heavy duty cast aluminum tensioner arm is designed to exert uniform force and provide constant correct arm alignment.
Pulleys are made from either thermoplastic or steel, depending upon the OEM application demands. The pulleys are grooved, flat, or flat with flanges to meet OEM standards. A dust cover is used to eliminate the possibility of dirt and other contaminates from harming the bearing.
